Quantitative Cell Imaging (QCI) FlexLab Services

Any worries about investing in HCS (high content screening) instrumentation or specialized training to start HCS are no longer a concern, because Millipore's QCI FlexLab service allows any researcher to access the power of QCI. Let our QCI experts run your experiments using Millipore’s validated QCI kits or we can work with you to develop an assay that suites your special research needs.
Millipore’s QCI kits provide immediate assay solutions for the most popular research areas for drug development:
  • Neurite Outgrowth
  • Cell Cycle & Proliferation
  • DNA Damage & Apoptosis
  • Cellular Stress & Toxicity
  • Cellular Signaling

Example of QCI FlexLab Services. Cell imaging can reveal effects that would be missed by other assay types. The neurotoxic effects of nocodazole treatment on neurite length can be seen in the images (above: DMSO control, left; 0.1 μM, middle; and 10 μM, right) and quantified (below: red line). Whereas, nacodazole had no effects using a MTT assay (below: blue line) a common viability assays that measures the metabolic activity of mitochondrial reductase.
